Where we are
Le Clos de Blisse is near the northern coast of the ‘departement’ (county) of Calvados, made famous by the drink of the same name. Normandy is region also known for it’s cider and delicious cheeses. Of course there is wonderful seafood and all the delicious patisseries and breads from the local French bakers (la boulangerie).
If you are arriving from the east i.e. Paris, Caen or Bayeux please use the N13 dual carriageway and take the exit marked ‘La Cambe’ and ‘Vouilly’. Head south on the D113, passing by the flood plains and marshland and arriving in Vouilly (Mairie).
Le Clos de Blisse is situated in a quiet country village called Vouilly. The village has two areas Vouilly Mairie and Vouilly Eglise (meaning Church).
As you can see from the map Le Clos de Blisse is in Vouilly Eglise and the church is a helpful landmark in locating both the main entrance (for everyone to use on their first arrival) and the private lane and entrance to Utah House.
Visitors to Omaha Mansion and Juno Lodge always use the main entrance.
